Even after a wet winter, water conservation remains important

Reservoir showing water in storage, and available capacity
While many parts of the American Southwest saw record precipitation this past winter, some components of our region's water supply systems remain stressed after many years of exceptional drought. Committment to water conservation remains important, so that water supplies can preserved for generations to come. Whether we fix leaks in a timely manner, adjust irrigation equipment to prevent runoff or take advantage of rebates to remove turf or install high efficiency appliances, we can all do our part to save water, and only use what we need.
