Water bill phone scam alert! Do not make credit card payments for your water bill over the phone! Please call FPUD offices at 760-728-1125 to report this type of incident.
Several water agencies in San Diego County have reported scammers calling their customers claiming that payments must be made by credit card or their water service will be turned off. If you receive this type of call, hang up, and please call FPUD at 760-728-1125 to report the incident.
FPUD bills water and wastewater customers monthly, with due dates clearly stated on each month's invoice. If an outstanding balance is left unpaid, customers will receive an automated call making them aware of the outstanding balance, but at no time will payment be demanded over the phone.
If you have any questions or concerns about your bill, please feel free to contact us.
