The longtime Fallbrook resident was re-elected to her third term in 2024 and seeks to enhance community outreach at FPUD. She made FPUD history as the first woman to serve as board president in 2021. She served on the ACWA Region 10 Board from 2024 to 2026, and is passionate about encouraging the next generation to pursue careers in the water industry. ACWA (Association of California Water Agencies) is a statewide organization that supports and advocates for California’s public water agencies.  She is also active as a youth volunteer in the Fallbrook community. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Guilford College in North Carolina. She joined the board in December 2016 and can be contacted at jdemeo@fpud.com.
