The Fallbrook Public Utility District (“District”) will receive sealed bids for the N. Brandon & E. Alvarado Sewer Replacement Project at Fallbrook Public Utility District, 990 E. Mission Road, Fallbrook, CA 92028 no later than Wednesday May 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM, at which time or thereafter said bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date.
The work generally consists of the installation of approximately 3,422 linear feet of 12” PVC gravity sewer pipe and manholes, including approximately 60 linear feet of trenchless jack and bore construction. The construction estimate for this project is $1.5 million.
Electronic copies of project documents will be made available for no cost at the District’s office at 990 E. Mission Road, Fallbrook, CA 92028. District will also make the Contract Documents available for review at its main desk.
Bids must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier’s check, or a Bid Bond in favor of District in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 990 E. Mission Road, Fallbrook CA, on the following date(s) and time(s): Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Each and every Bidder must attend the Pre-Bid Conference. Prospective bidders may visit the Project Site. Bids will not be accepted from any bidder who did not attend the Pre-Bid Conference.
